Lynda Murray - alto and sopranino saxophones
Lynda has been playing modern jazz in East Sussex for more than 30 years and is no stranger to Bexhill. Her quartet including bassist Paul Whitten opened for Courtney Pine on his first visit to the De La Warr Pavilion in 2005.
Lynda put together a group to play some swing for the De La Warr's 60th birthday celebrations.
Also at the De La Warr she was the saxophone soloist at the 2024 sold out Lifted Up Community Choir Christmas concert of Gospel and Soul Music.
October 2006 Lynda organised a 2 day Jazz Festival in Hastings Julian Joseph (piano and jazz broadcaster) was the headline act and Lianne Carroll (vocals) sat in and delighted the audience with an impromptu rendition of Duke Ellington's Caravan.
After 20 years Lynda feels the time is right to run a jazz club in Bexhill.

Terry Seabrook Trio, Chris Coull Quartet, Jason Henson Trio and Adrian York Trio, Sam Carelse Quartet and Sarah Oschlag Quartet.
Rod Brown - drums
Rod is a highly respected, freelance jazz drummer based in Kent. He has decades of experience on the UK and European jazz scenes.
